It is no real surprise that Vophemel has become home to several strongholds of those who worship Wend, the deity of monsters. The surprise is how long it took for them to become involved more directly in the war. Wend’s followers and creations see themselves as a family of outcasts, with the most active sects on the continent also proving to be the most violent. With members from all walks of life and access to powerful magic there is no telling who may be involved, until of course it is too late. These people and creatures band together with but one goal…

WARP THE PERFECT

Once the thriving home of the Outcast Nation, the island of Degkog has been transformed into a necromantic abomination at the hands of the Grand Necromancer and his followers. The corpses of those slaughtered in the attack have been raised into a terrifying state between life and death, their shrieking souls still conscious and aware as their decaying forms are puppeted as weapons against their former neighbors. After decades of experimentation the corpse ships swam to the mainland, bringing these fresh horrors to the war in earnest.

TEAR THEM APART, THEN MAKE THEM OURS

Under the ruthless leadership of The Octagram the combined might of an advanced military and some of the finest mages to ever live, it is no wonder this nation has stayed the primary aggressor throughout the entire war. Brainwashed soldiers are equipped with armor and weapons of unknown metal, powered by mysterious blue crystals and raw hatred for anything different than themselves. Meanwhile the nobility manipulates circumstances on and off the battlefield aided by spells no university in their right mind would be willing to teach, as they kill their way to the top.

NONE DESERVE TO LIVE, NONE BUT US

Having been exiled from the mainland centuries before the orcs, goblins, and hobgoblins of Degkog were more than happy to lay low once the Hegemony began to show their true colors, even maintaining trade well into the war. That all changed when the Grand Necromancer launched a surprise attack on their home, raising their fallen against them. Those who survived were quick to rebuild on the mainland, and even quicker to join the fight. Now, based from their capital of New Degkog, fierce warriors armed with crude steel and black powder hold back the tide of oppression.

A desperate merger between the elves of Yllen Caelora and the dwarves of Nohl Lodhir, the unlikely union must now come to terms with the consequences of their own inaction while doing their best to save what is left. The specialized equipment and creativity of the lodhiri is supplemented by the magical talent and rage of the few remaining ylleni, all while besieged on every front by Hegemony made horrors beyond comprehension. Their numbers dwindling and resources running dry, the union’s forces must work intelligently if they have any hope of survival.
